By creating an account or using ShopAltAI, you agree to these Terms and form a binding agreement with us. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service includes four tools:
The service is available through our web dashboard and, where you connect them, native integrations for WordPress/WooCommerce, Shopify, Joomla, Drupal, PrestaShop, and our Chrome extension. Additional integrations (including Magento and Shopware) are in testing or development and aren't yet generally available — see our Integrations page for current status.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use ShopAltAI. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to bind the business the account is used for, if applicable.
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You agree not to use ShopAltAI to:
You retain ownership of the images and product information you submit, and of the listings, alt text, and other output ShopAltAI generates for you. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service — including sending it to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy. Nothing is published to your store or site automatically; every screen requires you to review and accept a generation before anything is written back.
Generated content — listings, alt text, product descriptions, and Optimizer fixes alike — may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific product or audience. Review every generation before publishing it, especially for sensitive, regulated, or nuanced content. You're responsible for what you ultimately publish, whether or not it originated from ShopAltAI.
Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance per module (Product Listing Generator, Alt Text Generator, Content Generator), shown on our Pricing page. The AI Product Optimizer draws from your Product Listings allowance, at a rate of 1 credit for every 2 products fixed in a batch — it isn't billed separately. Scanning your catalogue with the Optimizer is always free on every plan and never consumes credits; only the fixes you choose to generate are charged. Bring-your- own-key (BYOK) usage does not consume ShopAltAI credits — your own AI provider bills you directly for that usage.
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled beforehand, at the price then published on our Pricing page. We'll notify you before any price change takes effect on your next renewal. Paid subscriptions and credit packs are processed through Razorpay, our payment processor; Razorpay's own terms apply to that processing.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing info@shopaltai.com. Cancellation stops the next renewal — you keep access to your plan and its remaining credits until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. There's no minimum term.
Credits — whether included in a subscription or purchased as a one-time pack — are usable as soon as they're added to your account. Because generation can begin immediately, credits already spent are not refundable once used.
Alongside the above, we'll offer a voluntary money-back guarantee: a full refund on request within 14 days of a purchase, provided you've used no more than 5% of the credits purchased (up to a maximum of 100 credits). Beyond that threshold, the guarantee no longer applies, though you're welcome to contact us about extenuating circumstances — we'll look at those case by case. To request a cancellation or refund, email info@shopaltai.com with your account email and, for refunds, the order or invoice you're referring to; we aim to respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 7 business days to your original payment method.
If we suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, no refund applies. If we end your paid account without cause — for example, discontinuing a plan — we'll refund the unused, pro-rata portion of your current billing period.
If you connect your own AI provider key, you're responsible for complying with that provider's own terms of service and for any costs the provider charges you directly. We store your key encrypted and use it only to fulfill your own generation requests.
ShopAltAI, our logo, and our software are our own intellectual property. Aside from the limited license described in Section 6, nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our intellectual property.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or that we reasonably believe pose a security risk to the service or other users.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, ShopAltAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including content you publish based on a generation you accepted.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, India.
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
